  1. Nice. Does anybody know when it's likely to air?
  2. Anyone interested in being a part of the following?
  3. Yeah I've heard they bring a bit of an uptick in visitors to the areas they film in. I may give it a look. Do you know if they're filming any more scenes? Maybe we can get a sneaky extras role.
  4. Did anybody manage to see the film crew when they were in Seaton Sluice and Delaval? I've never seen it before but I'm definitely curious to see these episodes now.

    Location needed for webcam

Mainly for a bit of fun. Our sister site Bedlington.co.uk has had one for a couple of years now and it has proved popular (https://www.bedlington.co.uk/forums/topic/5552-bedlington-goes-live/). It's used by expats to check in on for nostalgia reasons. People that can't make fair days and Christmas light switch-ons etc. Some people just like to wave for friends and family. The seemingly mundane can often throw up some nice surprises. There's a "secret wave" that only the members know ? Here's a screen grab from the Bedlington one that is only available to members. There's been a few Abbey Road re-enactments on that crossing. Positioning of the camera is done so as not to impose on anybody's privacy and there is no recording. The resolution is high enough to be interesting but low enough to make nefarious purposes impractical. This is not about crime prevention or security.
  7. We are looking for interesting Seaton Valley locations to install webcams. If you can help with this please email info@seatonvalley.co.uk Ideally these would be town centre locations on business premises but anything with an interesting viewpoint can be used. We will provide all the equipment required which is modest and pay for the connection on an ongoing basis. In return sponsorship on the camera pages will be offered in perpetuity.

A group of young people from Northumberland have had an exclusive opportunity to work with specialists from Open Clasp Theatre Company to create a short drama performance exploring relationships and develop a workshop to promote making informed and healthy choices. Their drama - 'First Time Free' is brilliant and very powerful; it goes on tour within Northumberland High Schools (with year 9 students) for five weeks launching on SAFE WEEK 5th June and ending on 7th July. There will also be a number of community performances to enable parents, professionals, anyone over the age of 13 who has an interest in safeguarding children, preventing domestic abuse and child sexual exploitation to attend. There is no cost to attend - the project has been funded through a grant from the Arts Council England. The drama and workshops are ALL youth led, they have worked so hard on this production, we would love to see YOU there.
